From Leh, the trek takes you through Skiu, Markha, hanker, Rubrang, Yakrupal, Kharnak Sumdo, Wangchuk Sumdo, Chupchak, Zangla Sumdo, Nyeraks, Yulchung and Sumda.
• Across Markha Valley: Situated panoramically in the middle of the Kongmaru La and Ganda La, Markha Valley is isolated between the two high passes and seems like time has stopped for centuries as life goes on unchanged in the villages. Enjoy trekking from Leh to Rumbak, Gandala Base, Skiu, Markha, Hankar, Nimaling, Chagtsang, Lhato and back to Leh.
