Board the flight from Delhi to Leh. Post arrival at Leh, you will be transferred to the hotel. Due to change in altitude, your body requires relaxation and thus few hours are kept at leisure.

Sightseeing in Leh starts with Shanti Stupa. It is a white-domed stupa, situated at a distance of 5 kilometres from Leh town on a hilltop in Chanspa. Next in the line is Leh Palace. This nine-storey building is perfectly located on the edge of Namgyal Hill overlooking Leh town. It used to be the replica of Lhasa’s Potala Palace. The palace belongs to the royal family that resides in Stok Palace as of now. It showcases awe-inspiring medieval Tibetan architecture.

In the evening, you may stroll in the local bazaars of Leh and collect some souvenirs such as jewel ornaments, shawls etc.

The day is set for sightseeing tour in Leh. After having breakfast at the hotel, get started to embrace the traditional architecture of monasteries in Leh.

Pay visit to Shey monastery and palace. It is located at a hilltop in Shey at a distance of 15 kilometres in Southern Leh. Later awaken your Bollywood nostalgia at Rancho School in Shey. Moving to the East of Leh, we will reach Thiksey monastery. It is located at an altitude of 11,800 feet and is a 12-storey building showcasing Buddhist art. Maitreya Temple is the major attraction at this monastery. This monastery is the replica of Lhasa’s Potala Palace. Hemis monastery and museum is next in line.

In the morning, depart for Nubra Valley which is in North-East direction to Leh. The journey from Leh to Nubra Valley is enthralling as it crosses the world’s highest motor-able road, the Khardung-La Pass. We would be driving approximately 6 hours while embracing the beauty of this heavenly land.

Visit Hunder village en-route. It is a quaint village with perfect natural setting. The ambiance of this village rejuvenates all of the senses. After exploring this village, proceed for enjoying the camel ride at the sand dunes of Nubra Valley.

Our morning will start with nutritious breakfast which will be followed by a journey through Khardung-La Pass to return to Leh. On return journey, we will take a trip to the most important village of Nubra Valley, that is the Diskit Village, in which the Diskit Monastery, built by Lama Sherab Zangpo is claimed to be the most notable place to visit in the village.

The evening is at leisure so that you can roam Leh bazaar or nearby place. You may interact with the amicable local people to know more about their culture.

Post breakfast, our journey will start from Leh to Pangong Lake. This lake is in South-West direction from Leh and is situated in the Indo-China region. The driving time from Leh to Pangong Tso will be approximately 6 Hours. When we reach the Lake, we will experience unimaginable view of Changchenmo Mountain range’s reflection in the very pure and clean lake water. The day will end after you enjoy your dinner meal under open sky.

The day will begin with a journey back to Leh. On the way, you can soothe your eyes with the picturesque landscapes.

After delicious breakfast at the hotel, depart for Sham Valley. Sham Valley is a perfect natural setting with meadows and mountains at the backdrop. En-route visit Magnetic Hill, a spot where you can witness the gravity defying phenomenon and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a religious site. Continuing the journey, we will reach Alchi monastery which is a 1000 years old monastery. It is the only monastery in this region constructed at plains.

During return journey from Alchi to Leh, witness the confluence of two rivers Zanskar and Indus.
