Ladakh is a region which is situated in the lap of the mighty Himalayas. This place is a perfect blend of natural beauty and traditional aspects. When you visit here you will love the touch of the cool breezes over your face. You will also have a change to treat your eyes with the beauty of the nature as well as that of the awesome traditional architecture.

Day 1 – India , Leh.

Leh -You will arrive at Leh which is located on the eastern side of Jammu and Kashmir. On the first day you would be received by our representative and would be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is kept at your leisure. This is because Leh is at a higher altitude and you will need a little bit of time in getting accustomed. In the evening you will be taken for a local tour. The local sightseeing places contain those sites which are not only beautiful but simply magnificent. Let’s get to know a little about the places you will visit.

Leh Palace: Also known as the ‘Lechen Palkhar’ the Leh Palace was built around the onset of 17th Century. It was built by Singay Namgyal. It was a magnificent creation of nine storeys which is now deserted. The ASI has taken up the renovation work of this superb creation. Here you will also see the Namgyal Tsemo or the victory park. This park was constructed by King Tashi Namgyal as a memoir for reunification of upper and lower Ladakh.

The village and Sankar Gompa: This is our next stop in the list of local sightseeing. This is a monastery which is quite modern and is from the contemporary era. This place was the residence for the late head priest. There are various gold icons which are worth having a look at.

Shanti Stupa: The Shanti Stupa which is also known as the Japanese Peace Pagoda is a religious place. It is situated on a hill top and is constructed in an outstanding manner. The view around this Pagoda is simply breathtaking. The day ends with overnight stay in hotel at Leh.

 

Day 2 – India, Ladakh.

On day two we start our journey with a new spirit and zeal. After having breakfast we proceed towards the valley of Sham. This is a place which is located around 75 kms from Leh. En route you will have a glimpse of the natural treasure of Leh and you will surly enjoy it. So what are the places you will be visiting? Let us get to know a little about them.

 

Alchi-Gompa: This is a 1000 years old monastery. Really it is! This Gompa is one of the most precious creations of this country. It has miniature pictures of Lord Buddha craved all over the walls. Although it is not active but this is a well maintained by monks and is one of the most attracted tourist spots of Leh.

Magnetic-HillMagnetic Hill: What’s exciting here? Keep a vehicle at the neutral gear on the metallic road of this hill and the vehicle slides up the hilly road. Unbelievable! Well it is. This is a place which does defy the law of gravitation. And as an add-on you can also pay a visit to the Gurdwara Shri Pathar Sahib.

Ladakh Hall of Fame: This is a place which restores the glorious moments of the Indian Army. The Army personnel’s sacrifices their lives to save us and this museum is a dedication to the work they are doing. It contains the biographies, the weapons, the images, etc of various heroes on the border.

The Meeting Point: There is a place where the Zanskar blends with Indus. This is a place which can provide you with a magnificent view.

On day two we return to Leh after having an enjoyable tour. Overnight stay would be at Leh.

Day 3 – India, Ladakh.

We would get up early and get ready to have another exciting trip to the Khardung-La Pass, located at North-East of Leh. This is a 78 kms round trip in total. We commence our journey after having breakfast in the hotel. Then we set our track towards a splendid and magnificent view of Kardung-La Top along with that of the surrounding valleys. This is also the highest motor-able road in the whole wide world. We would come back to Leh after spending an awesome day and stay overnight at Leh.

Day 4 – India, Ladakh.

We will start our day afresh with a delicious breakfast. Then we will take a drive towards the Pangong Lake which is located towards South-East of Leh. This lake is located on the Indo China Border and has a splendid view. You will find it to be picturesque and its beauty enhances to several folds with the backdrop of Shey and Thiksey villages. This lake is located at a height of 14, 000 feet and has a spectacular view. It is one of the most carefully created beauties of nature. We would finish 280 kms of round trip by returning to Leh. At night we will stay at the hotel.

Day 5 – India, Ladakh.

This is the final day where our journey ends. On the fifth day you would be transported to Leh airport to catch your flight to Delhi. You would go back home with wonderful memories of your Leh trip and start planning for the next trip.
